My name is Maili.

I’ve been a wardrobe & life stylist for over 30 years in the print, film and television industry.

My life path has brought me to many amazing places in the world and I’m grateful to have landed in Maine to create beachology + happynest.

this is beachology.

beachology has become a shopping experience of mindfully curated home decor, accessories and a unique blend of eclectic goods.

Our research and inspiration comes from all over. We tap into different avenues of our curiosities. We do offer something for everyone!

We opened our flagship store in 2009 in the heart of Old Orchard Beach, Maine.

Since then we’ve expanded and created the happynest by Maili collection in both Kennebunkport, Maine and our original shop in OOB.

This collaboration of both stores has allowed us to explore meeting the most interesting and wonderful customers & friends from around the world.
